UAS Processing Technician in our Ahmedabad office

Plowman Craven is expanding our technical delivery team in Ahmedabad, and were looking for a UAS Data Processing Technician whos passionate about turning aerial data into meaningful insight. Youll work with cutting-edge technologies from LiDAR and photogrammetry to advanced processing software supporting global engineering, infrastructure, and environmental projects.

What youll be doing

Process and manage UAS data (Photogrammetry + LiDAR), GNSS, and related datasets. Use advanced software such as Agisoft Metashape, Reality Capture, and DJI Terra to create high-accuracy outputs. Deliver high-quality geospatial products point clouds, orthophotos, DEMs, DSMs, and 3D models to international standards. Work closely with surveyors and field teams to validate, troubleshoot, and improve data quality. Maintain structured data storage, apply version control, and meet strict QA/QC benchmarks. Suggest improvements to workflows and contribute to automation and innovation within the team. Stay ahead of new developments in UAS, LiDAR, and geospatial software to keep Plowman Craven at the forefront of digital surveying.

What youll bring

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics, or related field. 2+ years experience in UAS photogrammetry and LiDAR data processing. Strong skills with Agisoft Metashape, Reality Capture, DJI Terra (Leica Cyclone a plus). Understanding of coordinate systems, georeferencing, and survey data formats (LAS, E57, RCP, etc.). Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills. Fluent English communication skills written and verbal. A team player with flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
