We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Typist to join our team in Erode. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately typing, formatting, and proofreading documents, as well as assisting with basic office support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Type, format, and organize business documents, letters, reports, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
Enter data into computers and maintain electronic records, files, and folders.
Proofread typed material to ensure correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and format.
Assist with general administrative and clerical support as needed (e.g., scanning documents, filing).
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Pass (10+2).
Typing Skills:
Good typing speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with MS Word and Google Docs.
Computer Skills:
Basic proficiency in computers and office software (MS Office).
Attention to Detail: Strong proofreading and organizational ability.
Communication:
Good command of English (additional language skills are a plus).
Experience:
Prior experience as a typist or data entry is beneficial but not mandatory.
Desired Skills
Excellent keyboard skills and fast, accurate data entry.
Good time management and ability to work under deadlines. Basic administrative support and office handling skills.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position based in Erode.
Standard working hours with regular office days.
