Job Description

Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on EV fundamentals, components, and systems. Train students on EV maintenance, repair procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Teach EV battery technology, charging systems, BMS (Battery Management System), and safety standards. Demonstrate the use of workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and EV testing instruments. Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assessments, and presentations. Ensure safety protocols and workshop discipline during practical sessions. Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to help them improve. Maintain training equipment, tools, and workshop inventory. Stay updated with latest EV technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Support trainees with job readiness, interviews, and placement activities (if required). Create reports, attendance sheets, and documentation as per institute requirements.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of EV systems, motor technology, and electrical fundamentals. Hands-on experience in EV maintenance, diagnostics, or automotive electricals. Good communication and teaching skills. Ability to explain technical concepts in simple and practical ways. Classroom and workshop management skills. Knowledge of safety procedures and tools handling. Problem-solving and technical analysis skills.

Qualifications

Diploma / ITI in Electric Vehicle Technology, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Certification in EV Technician / EV Service Technician (preferred). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in EV industry or technical training. Experience in teaching/training will be an added advantage.
