Job ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Support
Assist in
theory and practical teaching
for Undergraduate Nursing students
Conduct
clinical demonstrations, role plays, case discussions, and skills lab sessions
Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and clinical teaching schedules
Support faculty in evaluating
assignments, clinical records, and internal assessments
Guide students in
psychiatric nursing care plans, case studies, and therapeutic communication
Clinical Responsibilities
Supervise students during
clinical postings
in psychiatric wards, OPDs, community mental health centers, and rehabilitation units
Demonstrate psychiatric nursing procedures ensuring
ethical, legal, and safe practices
Promote
patient-centered, recovery-oriented, and therapeutic care approaches
Administrative & Institutional Duties
Maintain student attendance, clinical logbooks, and records
Assist in academic and clinical documentation as per
INC and University norms
Participate in departmental meetings, examinations, and institutional activities
Support accreditation, inspections, and quality assurance processes
Skills & Competencies
Sound knowledge of
Mental Health / Psychiatric Nursing
Good
communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
Ability to guide and motivate students
Professional ethics, empathy, and emotional intelligence
Team-oriented approach
