Key Responsibilities

Operate and handle

30-feet lathe machine

for heavy-duty machining work. Perform precision turning on

C-rope drums, threading jobs, and large-diameter components

. Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements, and specifications. Carry out

internal & external threading

with accuracy. Maintain machine tools, cutting tools, and ensure proper alignment & calibration. Ensure quality control, finish accuracy, and dimensional tolerance. Perform routine maintenance and follow safety protocols during machine operation.

Skills & Requirements

Strong experience with

large lathe machines (30 ft capacity)

. Skilled in

thread cutting, rope drum machining, shaft turning, and heavy turning work

. Ability to handle long jobs and heavy material loading. Good understanding of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Candidate

5+ years of experience as a Turner / Lathe Operator in an industrial or fabrication environment. Experience with heavy machining industries (cranes, rollers, rope drums, shafts, etc.).
