Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC turning machines (lathe machines) to produce metal parts and components. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Set up machines, load materials, select tooling, and input correct machining parameters. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality. Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges). Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Identify and troubleshoot issues during machining processes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Document production activities and complete relevant reports.

Required Qualifications:

ITI Machinist trade or equivalent. Minimum 2years of experience operating CNC turning machines. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Familiar with G-code programming and CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.). Basic knowledge of tool selection, feeds, and speeds for different materials.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and precision. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Familiarity with quality assurance and ISO standards. Team player with good communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience with CNC program editing. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices.

Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?21,000.00 per month
