The Turbine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of turbine equipment in various industrial settings. This role involves monitoring turbine performance, conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Operate Turbine Equipment:
Monitor and control turbine operations according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform Routine Inspections:
Conduct regular visual inspections of turbines and associated equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
Maintain Equipment:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and longevity of turbine equipment.
Troubleshoot Issues:
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or abnormalities to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruptions.
Monitor Performance:
Continuously monitor turbine performance parameters such as temperature, pressure, and vibration levels to detect deviations from normal operating conditions.
Coordinate with Maintenance Team:
Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule and prioritize repair and maintenance activities as needed.
