Lead the design, development, testing, and analysis of advanced technology gas turbine blades considering cost, performance, operability and reliability
Design, develop, test, and analyze advanced technology gas turbine components and systems considering cost, performance, operability, reliability, and emissions working as a member of a design team
Lead the design, development, testing, and analysis of advanced technology gas turbine components and systems considering cost, performance, operability, reliability, and emissions
Provide area leadership for all quality topics including timely dispositions of non-conformances, QMS compliance including internal audits, and achieving cell goals for quality metrics
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications against physical parts to investigate non-conformances and effectively document and communicate findings
Analyze internal and external quality data to identify high impact and recurring defect modes to drive meaningful corrective actions
Determine root cause of non-conformances and implement corrective actions both internally and externally
Maintain familiarity with manufacturing processes and practices in order to continuously improve manufacturing quality
Provide technical support during maintenance and upgrades
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
