TopperEd is seeking dedicated and passionate

Home Tutors

to provide

in-person academic support

to K-12 students. As a TopperEd tutor, you will play a key role in helping students strengthen their foundational understanding, improve performance, and build confidence in academics. You will be responsible for delivering structured and personalized learning experiences in the comfort of the student's home.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Lesson Planning & Content Delivery

Design and deliver structured Arabic or Bengali lessons . Use child-friendly language, visual aids, songs, and storytelling to simplify concepts. Create engaging classroom activities, interactive worksheets, and digital teaching aids. Adapt content to suit different learning styles and student abilities.
2. Classroom & Student Engagement

Conduct live online sessions or record engaging classes, depending on the program format. Manage a virtual classroom with discipline, empathy, and encouragement. Build rapport with young learners to promote confidence and participation. Encourage speaking, reading, and basic writing in the target language through games and role-play.
3. Assessment & Progress Monitoring

Conduct oral and written assessments aligned with the curriculum. Monitor student performance and maintain records of progress. Provide individual feedback and support based on performance and participation.
4. Collaboration & Curriculum Development

Work with curriculum developers to ensure lessons align with academic goals. Provide feedback and suggestions for curriculum enhancement based on classroom experience. Participate in team meetings, training programs, and continuous learning initiatives.
5. Parental Coordination

Provide brief reports or updates to parents/guardians as needed. Participate in parent-teacher meetings or feedback sessions, where required.

Mandatory Skills

;

Native-level command of Arabic or Bengali

(speaking, reading, writing, listening).

Proven experience teaching 1- to 2 year-olds

with child-centric pedagogy.

Creative lesson-planning expertise

: able to turn letters, words and simple sentences into stories, songs and games.

Confident use of online classroom tools

(Zoom / Google Meet, interactive whiteboards, Google Slides/PPT).

Clear, engaging communication & basic assessment skills

to track progress and give feedback.

Patience, empathy and classroom-management finesse

to keep young learners motivated and on task.

Preferred Skills and Experience

B.Ed. degree

or formal teaching certification. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE or state board standards for language curriculum. Experience creating or using digital content (PPTs, videos, online assessments). Creative teaching techniques like storytelling, songs, games, and interactive media. Previous experience with EdTech or online learning platforms. Multilingual proficiency (helpful in communicating with diverse learners). Flexible work hours based on your availability. Assignments near your location to minimize travel.
