Position Summary

The Tube Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a CNC tube laser cutting machine to produce precision-cut metal tubes and components according to specifications. The operator ensures accuracy, quality, and efficiency while following safety and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC tube laser cutting machines (e.g., Trumpf, BLM, Mazak, or similar). Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine settings and cutting paths. Load and unload metal tubes or profiles into the laser machine safely and efficiently. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and part quality. Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area. Troubleshoot minor mechanical or program issues and communicate larger issues to maintenance or supervision. Track production data and complete necessary documentation or reports. Follow all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions. Assist with routine machine maintenance and laser lens cleaning.
