Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant in our

SAP

Team, you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with
teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

SAP ISU-FICA should have:

Should have at least 8 years of experience inSAP IS-U/CA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end Billing & Invoicing, Payment Processing, Dunning, Collections, FICA-FI integration, and S/4HANA RISE transformation projects. This role is responsible for solution design, configuration, issue resolution, integration, testing, and supporting project lifecycle activities.

Solution Design & Implementation

Lead the design and configuration of

SAP IS-U FICA

processes including:

Contract Accounts

Invoicing & Billing Integration

Incoming/Outgoing Payments

Dunning & Collections Strategy

Clearing & Write-off Process

Installment Plans, Security Deposits

Payments Lot, Returns Lot, and Manual Payments

Configure and manage

FICA document posting

,

subledger functions

, and

account determination

.

Develop

Functional Specifications

for Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, WRICEF objects.

S/4HANA & RISE-Specific Activities

Experience with

S/4HANA IS-U compatibility packs

& migration approach.

Knowledge of

RISE with SAP

methodology and cloud-based deployment considerations.

Support

data migration

including Business Partner data, Contract Accounts, Open Items (FI-CA), Understand "

New FICA functionalities in S/4HANA

", including: Central Finance-style subledger, Universal Journal interactions (if required)

Integration Responsibilities

Integrate FICA with IS-U Billing & DM, SAP FI, Salesforce/CRM or other front-end portals.
Work with

Payment Gateways, Bank Interfaces, Lockbox

, and utility market systems. Coordination with

FI-GL, Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, CCS, MM, PM

teams.

Testing & Deployment

Prepare

Test Scripts

, perform

Unit Testing, SIT, UAT

, and support cutover.

Support

Go-Live

, Hypercare, and production stabilization.

Ensure

end-to-end process validation

with billing, device management, and FI integration.

Stakeholder & Documentation

Conduct requirement workshops with business users.

Prepare

BRD, FDD, configuration documents, KT plans

, and training materials.

Work closely with project managers, functional leads, and client stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

8-10 years

of experience in SAP IS-U with strong focus on

FICA

. Minimum

2 end-to-end IS-U implementation

projects in utilities domain. Strong understanding of: Invoicing & Billing Integration with FICA Payment Schemes, Bank Communication Dunning procedures & Collections Taxation & Country-specific regulations (India/Global) Strong knowledge in

IS-U Business Processes

(Meter-to-Cash). Experience with

RISE, S/4HANA

, and FICA migration tools. Good understanding of

WRICEF

objects in FICA. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder interaction, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to

FI-GL

SAP FSCM

is an added advantage. Experience working with

Agile project delivery

. Knowledge of utility regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in engineering - Computer Science in IT /B. E / B. Tech or MBA would be preferred. Strong communication skills (written & verbal). Willingness to travel for short- and long-term durations
