Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the territory
Appoint, manage, and develop distributors as per company norms
Lead, train, and monitor Sales Officers / Sales Executives
Ensure strong secondary sales and retail coverage
Drive availability, visibility, and brand presence in the market
Implement trade schemes, promotions, and marketing activities
Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behavior
Ensure timely collections and control outstanding payments
Review distributor performance and inventory levels
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback
Team Management Responsibilities
Conduct joint market visits with sales team
Set targets and monitor daily productivity
Provide on-the-job training and motivation
Evaluate performance and recommend incentives/disciplinary actions
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team-handling skills
In-depth knowledge of FMCG sales (Spices preferred)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Distributor and channel management expertise
Result-oriented with strong execution focus
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Graduate (Any discipline); MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
Experience:
5-10 years in FMCG sales, with at least 2-3 years as TSM/ASM
Age:
As per company policy
Other Requirements:
Two-wheeler mandatory
Willingness to travel extensively within territory
