Technical Solutions Engineer (4 positions)


SKILLS:


Must Have:


Familiarity of developing sample apps for both Android and HTML5 + JS


Ability to take sample apps and add customer used APIs (Customization) to reproduce customer issues and collect logs for engr to debug.


Able to host sample app sender and receiver in the cloud environment and repro.


Good debugging skills


Desirable (not mandatory requirements)


Coding experience in C/C++ and Java Script, Python.


Familiarity with Github repos and adding/modifying content


Familiarity with Streaming media playback would be good not necessary


Familiarity with Linux platform development


Knowledge in media players, protocols, codecs etc. will help a lot. It is not mandatory to have this skill but will be a Plus.


RESPONSIBILITIES




OEM tech support


OEM CRT test - Samsung / LG / Vizio / Bose / Harman


Triage incoming defects filed by TAM, reproduce, collect logs, dig through the code, and find potential root causes and fixes.


Certification workflow automation and dashboard


Form / Web App


CRT result review automation


Cast partner engineering dashboard


CRT status, Defect status, Program status


Works with Reference platform to support partners


Cast Lite with Raspberry Pie


Cast Core with AML platform


Expand test automation coverage:


Help engineering running end to end and integration tests.


Help engineering expand test automation coverage: Add FIT TCs for TV and Speakers


Handle Releases


Cast Core SDK: Cast Core library release for video products


Cast Lite SDK: CastLite library release for audio products
