QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7+ experience in Design and Development of application/data integration with at least 4 of those leveraging Talend
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required - Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
• Experience with ERP integration, preferably SAP and/or JDE
• Experience designing and delivering integration and orchestration for complex, large-volume data warehouse applications
• Experience using Talend to orchestrate Snowflake data
• Experience in reading and transforming complex XMLs, Flat file formats (For ex: csv, delimited,\xe2\x80\xa6) , DB look ups.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a hard-core Talend ETL Developer and experience in KIMBALL data warehouse concepts as part of Data integration.
• Minimum 2+ years of Talend ESB experience/Talend Cloud API Services Platform
• 3+years of experience with Talend Studio with at least 1 year being Talend Studio 7.x
• 3+ years of experience with Solution design
• 5+ years of experience with markup languages (JSON, XML, YAML)
• 2+ years of experience in Messaging Middleware ActiveMQ on message queue and topics.
• Experience with Pub/Sub model and event driven processes is plus.
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful API, Restful web services, SOAP API is a plus
• Experience working with Java and Apache open source projects
• Experience with Global/local config/Property/Context files Promotion/Deployment pipelines and tasks Code promotion Deploy/undeploy Talend routes
• Experience in Configure and manage CI/CD using Git with Talend. Experience creating Jenkins pipelines to integrate and test Talend code a plus.
• builds and services for Talend Scheduling and Deployment using TAC Security and access controls Ensuring backups and restoration of Talend repositories.
• Experience with Talend Administration Center and Talend Management Console
• Experience in Data Mapper perspective
• Data modelling experience
• Excellent communications skills to include fluency in English - both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
• ITIL experience \xe2\x80\x93 at least to foundation level desirable
• Experience in Global ITS operations environment is key.
• MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Visio and MS Project

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• This role has an obligation to fully understand the Demand and Change Management Processes, associated SLA\xe2\x80\x99s and ITS Standard operating procedures.
• To produce complete and meaningful High Level Estimates (HLE\xe2\x80\x99s) based on demand requests .
• Participates as a key contributor in the design and development of complex application and data integrations and projects and is the expert in the technology selected.
• Accountable for mentoring and training offshore or near shore teams on solutions and technologies used .
• Accountable to drive and ensure deliverables are complete based on defined timelines .
• Responsible for knowledge transfer to ITS operations.
• Responsible for participating on operational readiness review , Disaster Recovery & Business continuity
• Provides technical escalation support for ITS operations.
• Understand Business requirements and work on design and development of the solution.
• Analyzes, designs, implements and maintains Talend applications.
• Perform requirements analysis
• Develops relevant functional and technical documentation
• Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• Be a senior technical player on complex ETL and EAI development projects with multiple team members.
• Leads/participates in design review meetings
• Supports project management tasks, such as estimating and planning dependencies/risks.
• Implementation (e.g., installation, configuration, programming/customization, integration, data migration)
• Conducts peer to peer Code reviews
• Coordinates in performing unit testing, including defining/supporting acceptance testing and gathering feedback from pre-release testers. Reviews test plans/strategies to ensure software quality.
• Participates in software release and post-release activities, including support for product launch and analysis for subsequent product build/release cycles.
• Accountable to train and mentor offshore/nearshore team\xe2\x80\x99s and build needed skillsets for support and development activities
• Ability to learn new technologies
