Job Description

Technician typically includes inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and their components. This involves working with diesel engines, electrical systems, and various mechanical parts, often using diagnostic tools and equipment. The technician also performs routine maintenance, overhauls systems, and maintains detailed records of work performed.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repairing or replacing defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components. Performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations. Disassembling and reassembling major components like engines and transmissions. Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems. Maintaining accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Working with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient service. Adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment when necessary. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Communicating with drivers and fleet managers about vehicle issues and repairs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret results. Ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks with precision. Understanding and adhering to safety protocols.

Experience:

Relevant experience in a similar role with 1 yrs to 10 yrs + ( Age of max 50 yrs )

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent, with trade school or vocational training preferred.

Pay: ₹13,467.72 - ₹32,138.14 per month
