Job Description
Minimum 1 year US Truck Dispatcher Experience Required, The ideal candidate for this position will have recent experience in the trucking industry primarily in a driver management and customer service role. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate freight rates with brokers and customers to ensure competitive lane pricing for drivers
- Dispatches drivers and provides routing directions, loading/unloading instructions, and other shipment information as needed
- Provide shipment tracking updates to customers and tracks shipments to verify on-time pickups and delivery
- Dispatch all loads in a timely manner to ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction
- General knowledge of DOT laws and guidelines
- Respond to phone/email correspondence using correct grammar
