Could you be the full-time Troubleshooter Engineer in India we're looking for?

Purpose of the Job:

To ensure effective troubleshooting and testing of locomotives during various operational phases(schedule Maintenance, mainline attention, overhauling) contributing to reliability improvement.

Indian railway Loco pilots, SSE, officials.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

Ensuring troubleshooting on locomotives during various phases according to best practices Ensuring validity and certification of relevant tools Populating and managing failure databases effectively Facilitating communication within the troubleshooting team Contributing to continuous reliability improvement Providing support in special cases and adhering to EHS rules.

Main Required Competencies:

Degree / Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering from a recognized university.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to upload/download software & validate the function. Familiarity with electrical schematics of locomotives. Knowledge of locomotive power circuits and pneumatic systems

Experience required for this role:

B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic with 3-5 years' experience in Electric Loco Shed as a troubleshooter/maintainer



Diploma in Electrical/Electronic with 5-7 years' experience in Electric Loco Shed as a troubleshooter/maintainer

Desirable:

Specialization in one sub-system of locomotive (e.g., traction, brake, TCMS)



Knowledge of special processes like torquing and crimping
