We are seeking a talented and motivated Tricentis Consultant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated software testing solutions using the Tricentis platform (such as Tosca, qTest, or LiveCompare). The ideal candidate blends technical expertise with consultative skills and is passionate about driving software quality and process improvement for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Solution Design: Analyze client testing needs and architect end-to-end automated test strategies leveraging Tricentis Tosca and other Tricentis tools.
Implementation & Configuration: Install, configure, and customize Tricentis test automation solutions including Tosca, qTest, and LiveCompare to meet client-specific requirements.
Integration & Scripting: Integrate Tricentis tools with CI/CD pipelines, defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and other relevant systems; develop custom scripts or modules as needed.
Test Case Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of business-critical applications and processes.
User Training & Enablement: Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams to drive adoption of automated testing practices and Tricentis tools.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor testing processes, gather feedback, and refine test solutions to improve reliability, speed, and business value.
Reporting & Documentation: Develop robust test documentation, execution reports, and user manuals for both technical and business audiences.
Client Communication: Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex testing challenges into actionable solutions. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, qTest, LiveCompare, or comparable automated testing tools.
Knowledge of automation frameworks, software development life cycle (SDLC), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
Proficiency in writing test scripts, configuring test environments, and using scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript) relevant to Tricentis tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of working on client-facing projects.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Tricentis Tosca, qTest, or LiveCompare certifications.
Experience integrating test automation with DevOps tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to SAP, Salesforce, or other ERP/CRM system testing.
Prior consulting or professional services background.
