Purple Tutor is a company started by IIT Bombay alumni with a view to give kids a better future and make them ready for the jobs of tomorrow. We are an online platform that teaches computational thinking/computer science to kids. As per research from world-renowned institutes such as MIT, Harvard, Tufts, etc., if the concepts of computer science are introduced to kids early on in their lives then they become sharper in logical reasoning, algorithmic thinking, creativity, etc. We are a coding company for kids that ensures that children have the skills required for a successful future. We cater to kids from grades 1 to 10 and empower them to use technology. We are a creative company, we are a practical company, we believe in taking decisions and implementing them in the next hour, and we believe in moving fast and getting things done fast.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contacting the parents who have registered on our website but have not taken our free 1-hour trial class
2. Contacting the parents by phone, WhatsApp, email and convincing them to take the free live trial class on Zoom

Additional Information

1. There are no sales involved. Calls will be made using the VoIP app and no mobile recharge/payment has to be done by the executive for the phone calls. Bookings will be done using the company's in-house CRM and leads will be managed using Google Sheet. These are not cold leads but have visited our website/social media page.
2. Interns will have to work in any 1 shift: either 9 am-6 pm or 4 pm-1 am. Both shifts will have 45 minutes break.
3. It is mandatory for the selected intern to make 90-100 calls in one shift.
