• Oversee general accounting operations, control, and verify financial transactions.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting reports for management submission.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance, tax accounting activities.
• Collaborate with accounting, tax functions, and relevant parties in Singapore and India.
• Manage billing, accounts receivables, accounts payable, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition.
• Lead and drive the corporate finance team following fiscal discipline structure.
• Support the finance manager in activities as assigned.
• Provide ad-hoc and regular treasury advice to internal customers within the group.
• Maintain accounting records, assist in filing documents, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks accounting software.
• Lead a team of accounting/finance professionals.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of increasingly complex accounting and auditing issues, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process.
• Required Skills: Java 1.7 / J2EE development (Spring, Struts, Hibernate, web service, Java batch).
• Strong financial/banking domain experience.
• Experience in Treasury, Trade Finance, or relevant skillsets preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in banking/finance/SAAS/mobile-related hands-on engineering/development.
• Background in finance management and underwriting policies is a plus.
• Proactive in seeking efficiency savings in treasury finance data management and MI reporting.
• Execute drawdown repayment for company treasury line balance reconciliation.
• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, clarify queries, and month-end closing.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in communication with treasury businesses regarding charges.
• Experience in embedded finance space is an added advantage.
• Support treasury projects and related tasks that might arise from time to time.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking industry, with lending experience preferred.
