The Treasury Assistant is responsible for managing vendor disbursements through cheque and electronic funds transfer (EFT) using the organization's ERP system. This role includes processing online utility payments via e-cheque and credit cards, supporting accounts teams by providing bank transaction details, and updating cheque information in the bank portal for positive pay systems. The Treasury Assistant also performs reconciliation of payment transactions and prepares documentation such as release of lien and profiles within the document management system. This position works closely with the finance and accounts teams, banking institutions, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Process vendor disbursements via cheque and EFT using ERP system
Execute online utility payments through e-cheque and credit card methods
Provide bank transaction details and reports to accounts teams
Update cheque details in bank portals for positive pay verification
Reconcile payment transactions against bank statements and internal records
Prepare and upload release of lien documents and profiles into document management software.
Communicate with banks and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all treasury-related transactions and documentation.
Training on the ERP system and its payment modules
Access to online banking portals and positive pay system tutorials
Documented procedures for payment processing and reconciliation
Templates for release of lien and profile documentation
Checklists for monthly reconciliation and payment verification
Quality assurance standards for transaction accuracy and fraud prevention
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, MBA)
0 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred
Proficiency in Excel is mandatory
Banking experience is an advantage
Location: Vadodara
Shift Timings: 1PM- 10PM / 2PM- 11PM
