Treasury Accountant

This position supports Eaton's GFA Treasury Accounting CoE. This position's main responsbility will be to oversee Eaton's Treasury accounting activities including capital market transactions, cash management transactions, and financial analysis. This position will collaborate with global corporate functions such as Treasury, Tax, GFA CoE's, and IT to execute strategic plans for total Eaton including items such as finance transformtion projects and system process improvements to drive efficiencies. Oversee accounting transactions of various Treasury centers including but not limited to Mexico, US, Canada and Brazil. Conduct Total Eaton Debt analysis and reporting Reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy. Assist with tax projects assoicated with legal entity changes and manage the updates to the legal book Provide support for External (USGAAP & statutory) and Internal audits Participate in special Treasury projects that support the goals fo the finance transformation, including standardization and centralization.

Requirement:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum 2+ years of accoutning/finance experience

Skills:

Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications Proficient use of accounting software (SAP/Oracle). Basic knowledge or interest in VBA/Power BI/SQL would be preferential. Experience with Quantum Treasury system would be preferential. Ability to work well in a team environment. Strong time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to adapt well to changes and/or drive changes Ability to identify and solve problems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable and confident in speaking with senior leadership * Can work easily with a diverse set of people to get things done with and through others
