: Travel Sales Executive



Position Overview


A Travel Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling travel services, packages, and solutions to clients. This role involves identifying customer needs, designing customized travel itineraries, building strong client relationships, and meeting sales targets while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development



Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation. Promote and sell travel packages, airline tickets, hotel stays, tours, and other travel-related services. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and client database.

Client Relationship Management



Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel options. Provide professional guidance on destinations, travel routes, visa requirements, and travel insurance. Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless end-to-end travel experience.

Itinerary Planning & Booking



Create customized travel itineraries based on client preferences and budgets. Coordinate bookings for flights, hotels, tours, transportation, and other travel services. Ensure accurate documentation and timely confirmation of bookings. Collaborate with suppliers, airlines, hotels, and tour operators for best pricing and availability.

Market Research & Reporting



Stay updated with travel industry trends, new destinations, offers, and competitor activities. Provide periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management. Assist in developing promotional strategies and seasonal travel campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in travel sales or a similar role. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales goals. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Passion for travel and good knowledge of popular destinations.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
