The Travel Operations Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating travel services, ensuring smooth operations, superior customer service, and efficient execution of client itineraries. The role involves handling reservations, vendor coordination, itinerary planning, ticketing, and post-travel support while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate domestic arrangements for clients, including flights, hotels, transportation, and insurance.
Process reservations and bookings through GDS systems or vendor platforms.
Communicate with airlines, hotels, suppliers, and travel partners to secure competitive rates and confirm services.
Prepare detailed travel itineraries and travel documentation for customers.
Manage trip amendments, cancellations, and rebookings as required.
Handle customer queries and provide timely resolution to travel-related issues before, during, and after trips.
Maintain databases, booking records, and financial documents with accuracy.
Assist in developing travel packages, promotional deals, and seasonal offers.
Monitor travel trends, vendor performance, and market pricing.
Ensure compliance with company policies and travel regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1-4 years of experience in travel operations or bookings.
Proficiency in GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or similar (advantageous).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Strong MS Excel, email handling, and documentation skills.
