Role Overview:
As a Travel Executive at Mellow Voyages, you will play a key role in crafting and managing travel experiences for our clients. You will be responsible for providing detailed travel advice, creating customized itineraries, and ensuring a smooth booking process for domestic and international packages. The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation:
Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
Provide detailed information on travel destinations, accommodations, and transportation options.
Travel Planning & Booking:
Create and manage customized travel itineraries, including hotel reservations, flight bookings, train bookings, and ground transportation.
Handle bookings for domestic and international travel packages, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for clients.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with hotels, airlines, cab services, and other vendors to secure bookings and negotiate favorable rates.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Customer Service:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates throughout the booking and travel process.
Assist with travel documentation, such as visa applications and travel insurance, ensuring all requirements are met.
Sales & Promotion:
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling travel services to maximize revenue.
Participate in marketing activities, including promoting travel packages through social media and digital channels.
Administration & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, and payments.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience as a Travel Executive or in a similar role within the travel industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in travel booking platforms, MS Office, and CRM software.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to handle multiple bookings and follow through on client requests with accuracy.
Problem-Solving:
Capable of handling travel-related issues and providing effective solutions.
