We are looking for a Travel Executive to manage travel requirements for business or holidays and provide tourism-related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. Knowledge of GDS/Amadeus is mandatory. The goal is to keep clients satisfied and loyal for future services.
Requirements and Skills:
Fluent in English with good communication skills
Ability to interact and negotiate effectively
Strong coordination and sales skills
Proven experience in the travel industry with knowledge of travel norms, ticketing, and reservation
Sound knowledge of domestic/international travel trends
Knowledge of packages, ticketing, and GDS (Amadeus and Galileo)
Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Effective time-management skills
Willingness to work in shifts
Experience in outbound calls and follow-up
Responsibilities:
Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services
Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise on appropriate destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations
Deal with travel problems, complaints, or refunds
Enter data into software and maintain client files
Meet profit and sales targets and provide after-sales services
Make new reservations and changes on Amadeus, quote correct fares, issue/re-issue tickets, and process refunds
Respond to customer queries via telephone, email, fax, web chat, and social media
Maintain and generate reports as required
Sell, up-sell, and cross-sell products and services
Complete fraud prevention checks
