A Travel CT Technologist is needed for a contract assignment in Ypsilanti, MI. This role involves performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting workflow efficiency within the radiology department.
Key Responsibilities

Review radiology requisitions and physician orders to ensure correct procedures are performed.
Gather and verify previous relevant imaging for radiologist review.
Explain procedures to patients and prepare them appropriately.
Position and immobilize patients as needed to ensure quality imaging.
Determine and adjust exposure factors following established protocols.
Perform high-quality CT scans and related diagnostic radiographs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring proper supply levels.
Process and review images for quality; report equipment issues as required.
Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of shielding and PPE.
Perform venous punctures for contrast administration and monitor patients for any reactions.
Communicate urgent results to physicians when required.
Assist in training and orienting students and new technologists.
Maintain continuing education through professional development activities.

US Citizen or Green Card holder
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of CT Technologist experience
Availability:
Must be able to work a
3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
shift
Commitment:
13-week contract with potential extension
