Job Title: Travel Consultant

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to provide expert travel advice and tailored solutions to our clients. You'll build strong relationships, understand client needs, and deliver exceptional travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultations: Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client travel requirements and preferences.

2. Travel Planning: Create personalized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.

3. Booking and Coordination: Book travel arrangements, manage reservations, and coordinate with suppliers.

4. Travel Documentation: Ensure compliance with travel regulations, visas, and documentation requirements.

5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to client inquiries, and resolve issues.

6. Destination Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on destination information, travel trends, and industry developments.

7. Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel services.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 2-5 years in travel industry, preferably in a consultancy role.

2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of travel industry, destinations, and travel regulations.

3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

4. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple bookings.

5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in travel software, GDS (Global Distribution Systems), and Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have:

1. Certifications: Travel industry certifications (e.g., TIDS, ARC, IATA).

2. Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages.

3. Destination Specialization: In-depth knowledge of specific destinations or travel niches.
