We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Travel Consultant to assist clients in planning, organizing, and booking their travel experiences. The role involves providing expert advice on destinations, creating tailored itineraries, and ensuring a seamless travel experience from inquiry to return.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements.
Recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities based on client needs.
Prepare customized travel itineraries, including detailed day-by-day plans.
Book flights, hotels, tours, cruises, car rentals, and other travel services.
Provide information on visa requirements, travel insurance, and travel regulations.
Handle changes, cancellations, and travel emergencies efficiently.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive rates.
Stay updated on travel trends, promotions, and new destinations.
Ensure all bookings comply with company policies and client requirements.
Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after travel.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role (preferred).
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
Proficiency in booking systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications in travel or tourism will be an advantage.
Work Environment:
Office-based or hybrid, with occasional travel opportunities for familiarization trips.
