Job Description


  • 5+ years of travel reservation experience desired to arrange travel reservations including flights, cars, and accommodations and communicate to stakeholders.
  • Document dates of travel, arrival, flight status and document special requests and obtain approvals, as necessary.
  • Adhere to company financial and expense and other policies about travel and expenses and dealing with employees. Obtain approval outside guidelines.
  • Scout potential hotel and travel vendors for availability prior to expected need to include being proactive during non-disaster times.
  • Understand and improve financial terms and better benefits for the company-terms for terms such as rates, groups discounts, national contracts, etc.
  • Receive and process service requests from the relevant support functions (staffing, equipment, travel arrangements, contracts, project accounting support, etc.).
  • Collect receipts from employees and vendors for housing, automobiles, etc. against scheduled travel. Drafts invoices for payment.
  • Draft vendor and supplier prequalification terms, i.e., a checklist of questions and requirements for better quotes and service delivery.
  • Create and distribute travel reports regularly and on request.
  • Serve as POC for all company travel needs and direct-bill requests.
Qualification
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a hospitality program or equivalent experience required.
