Roles & Responsibilities :
The purpose of this position is to govern logistics operations by overseeing transport management, LSP coordination, order quality checks, and implementing efficiency-driven measures, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to strategic improvements.
Qualifications
Educational qualification:
Engineering degree
MBA or PGDBA in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
Preference will be given for APICS - Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
Experience :
5 to 10 years' Experience supply chain role with minimum 3 years as transportation lead for fine distribution (last mile deliveries).
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic environment
Experience in project management, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Skills :
1 to 2 years of experience in digital transformation of transportation, with a proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes and driving digital initiatives
Knowledge of transportation regulations, supply chain best practices, and emerging technologies
