Plan and optimize daily truck indents to achieve target truck utilization, vehicle mix efficiency, and adherence to transporter share.
Coordinate transportation activities end-to-end, including scheduling, goods movement, and ensuring timely delivery with operations, warehouse, and regional teams.
Monitor attached fleet trips, optimize routes, maximize trip efficiency, and ensure timely loading/unloading at manufacturing units and warehouses.
Ensure regulatory compliance by following transport laws, mitigating risks, and maintaining required documentation.
Track and analyze transportation KPIs such as truck placement accuracy, transit reliability, freight cost per ton, utilization, and savings vs. plan.
Drive continuous cost and process improvements through performance reviews, cost reduction initiatives, and transporter rate negotiations.
