Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Transport Incharge to manage the transportation services for our organization. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient transport of students/employees, manage a team of drivers, and maintain the organization's fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities- Fleet Management:

Supervise and manage the organization's fleet of buses, vans, or other transport vehicles. Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained, regularly serviced, and comply with safety standards.

Route Planning:

Develop and optimize transportation routes for timely and efficient transportation. Plan routes to accommodate new students/employees, address changes, or other relevant factors.

Safety and Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for students/employees on transport. Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and standards for transportation.

Staff Supervision

: Oversee and manage the performance of drivers and attendants. Conduct regular training sessions for drivers and attendants on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service.

Communication:

Maintain effective communication with parents, school administrators, transport staff, and other stakeholders. Address and resolve transportation-related concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of student ridership, routes, and any incidents. Prepare reports on transportation-related metrics and activities.

Emergency Response:

Develop and implement emergency response plans for transportation-related incidents. Coordinate with relevant authorities in case of emergencies.

Qualifications- Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or transport management are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation management or a similar role, preferably in a school setting.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.

Skills:

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems promptly.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in school transportation safety or management.

Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and route optimization software.

Previous experience working in a school environment.

Salary?15,000.00 per month .
