Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of School Transport Manager at our School.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the school transportation system, including route planning, scheduling, and vehicle maintenance.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies to guarantee the well-being of students and staff during transportation.

Manage a team of drivers and transportation staff, providing training, supervision, and support as needed.

Coordinate with school administration, parents, and transportation vendors to address any concerns or issues related to transportation services.

Monitor and analyze transportation data to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and driver certifications.

Implement and enforce policies and procedures to promote safe and responsible behavior among students and staff during transportation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in transportation management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in an educational setting.

Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
