Educational sector exp is must minimum 4- 5 years in transportation dept is mandatory

Core responsibilities

Operations management

: Oversee all aspects of the school's transportation services, including scheduling, driver assignments, and daily operations.

Route planning

: Develop and optimize bus routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation for students, considering factors like traffic, safety, and special student needs.

Driver management

: Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and attendants, including conducting performance reviews and ongoing training.

Safety and compliance

: Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures for the transportation system. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws and regulations.

Vehicle maintenance

: Coordinate with mechanics and service providers to ensure all vehicles are in good working condition and properly maintained.

Budget management

: Assist in developing the transportation budget and monitor expenses for fuel, maintenance, and repairs.

Communication

: Act as a liaison between parents, school administrators, and transportation staff. Address parent concerns and provide updates on transportation-related matters.

Emergency preparedness

: Develop and implement emergency response plans for transportation-related incidents and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
