Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:

Planning, organizing, and controlling the movement of goods or people from origin to destination.

Route Optimization:

Determining the most efficient and cost-effective routes for transportation.

Compliance:

Ensuring all transportation activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Staff Management:

Supervising and coordinating drivers, dispatchers, and other transportation personnel.

Budgeting:

Managing transportation expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Tracking and Reporting:

Monitoring shipment progress, generating reports, and maintaining records.

Vendor Management:

Coordinating with external transportation providers and suppliers.

Customer Service:

Addressing transportation-related inquiries and resolving issues.

Safety and Security:

Implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures for transportation operations.

Maintenance Management:

Scheduling and overseeing vehicle maintenance and repairs
