Our client is Group of companies involved in Agriculture, Milling, Food Production & Meat Processing. Position : Transport Officer Job Location : DR Congo Key Accountabilities Position will be responsible to perform all tasks safe and efficient operations of the fleet by monitoring the everyday practices, which would include : Conduct a thorough written evaluation of all the drivers regarding their knowledge and understanding of Traffic rules. Conduct a physical driving test for all the Drivers once in 6 months based on pre-defined criteria. Daily monitoring of Driver movements and analysis of the planned routes and timelines for delivery. Hiring of new drivers based on written test, physical driving test and periodic monitoring of the drivers. Conduct the Training of all the Drivers on the Vehicle Accident Report and Investigation ProgramTrain the Drivers on the Standard Operating Procedure on Reporting any IncidencePublish Quarterly Audit report on the Vehicle Health check, Individual Driver\'s report. Disciplinary action including termination of services in case of regular defaulters and complaints about the driversConducts surprise audits for the purposes of safety inspections, quality control and cost control. Desired Profile Education Minimum : Diploma in Automobile Engineering Experience of 8-10 years transportation/logistics related experience preferred with an experience of managing a team of 40-50 drivers & Fleet.
