Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Transport Operations

Plan, schedule, and monitor daily school bus routes for students and staff Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students Maintain accurate transport records (routes, students, buses, drivers)
2. Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to

CBSE transport safety guidelines

Verify that buses are equipped with required safety measures (GPS, first-aid box, fire extinguisher, speed governors, CCTV where applicable) Conduct regular safety drills and checks Ensure valid permits, fitness certificates, insurance, and pollution certificates for all vehicles
3. Driver & Attendant Management

Supervise drivers and bus attendants/helpers Ensure drivers have valid licenses and follow traffic and safety rules Maintain duty rosters and attendance records Organize training or briefings on student safety and behavior
4. Vehicle Maintenance

Coordinate regular servicing, repairs, and cleanliness of buses Report breakdowns and arrange immediate alternatives when required Maintain vehicle maintenance logs
5. Parent & School Coordination

Address transport-related queries or complaints from parents Communicate route changes, delays, or emergencies promptly Coordinate with school administration during events, trips, and exams
6. Emergency Handling

Act promptly in case of accidents, delays, or emergencies Inform school authorities and parents as per protocol Ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,024.32 per month
