Aufgaben

• Work on variant management of electric/automatic transmission
• Work on engineering change management by using Daimler tools like SAMARGD, DIALOG, ACM & SRM
• Work on packaging of transmission components internal and external, at vehicle level
• Data handling with product data management tool
• Maintain the CAD data with SMARAGD (Engineering Client).
• Electric/Automatic Transmission design and development activities including developing concept designs and its feasibility studies with respect to function, manufacturing, Assembly and optimization
• Work on 3D model and drawing of components
• Work on theoretical calculations and tolerance stack up.
• Work on VA-VE project for automatic transmission projects

Qualifikationen

• Good knowledge on Release and variant management
• Good know how on documentation process & release tools
• Should have knowledge about Team Center and knowledge about SMARAGD (Engineering Client) will be added advantage
• Good Know how on Electric/Automatic Transmissions
• Understanding of Automobile transmission domain, latest trend & technologies, major assemblies and components
• Exposure to Transmission layout, Bearing selection, shaft design , Housing and Gear component design
• Good communication skill & High motivation to work in a team and to contribute with positive attitude
• Capable of working independently on a given task
• Stakeholder mgt. skills (Discussion with Plant, R&D, Suppliers etc.)
• German Language is added advantage
