Investment Analyst

About Transition VC :

Transition VC is India's 1st Energy Focused venture capital fund. We will be investing seed capital in 40 DeepTech startups solving real life problems in Clean Energy (alternate fuels), Decarbonization & Net Zero Journey, over the next 3years. We are a flat organization & don't believe in hierarchy.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research and investment opportunities in various industries/niches

- Responsible for preparing deal-related materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations

- Deal sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities

- Deal evaluation

- Investment & decision analysis

- Startup valuation

- Preparing Investment Memo for Investment committee presentation

- Term sheet drafting & negotiations

- Assist in legal & financial diligence

- Maintaining deal pipeline

- Periodic portfolio monitoring

- LP reporting on a need basis

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech). Preferably mechanical/ electrical.

Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Angel funds / VCs / Energy companies or startups / Investment Banking / Consulting.

Skills: Require proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in Excel & PowerPoint; Data analysis, excellent research, written & communication skills.

Knowledge: Good understanding of the sectors and technologies the fund is investing in. Business model understanding & analysis, Industry research.

Expected CTC: 7 to 11L pa + Carry / other deals linked + performance Bonus
