Job Title: Transfer Desk Executive / Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Transfer Desk Executive will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating vehicle stock movements across all 2wh brand to optimize inventory aging. The role involves regular communication with cluster managers and store managers to ensure timely transfers, assist in spare parts procurement, support reduction in turnaround time for transit-damaged vehicles and maintain accurate reports and analysis related to stock movement and inventory health.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Monitoring & CommunicationRegularly monitor the aging of vehicle stock across all brand stores.
Communicate with brand-specific Customer Managers regarding the current stock status and excess aging vehicles (over 45 days).
Coordinate with Store Managers to facilitate timely transfers of over-aged stock to optimize inventory flow.
Transfer ExecutionTrack and initiate transfer requests for vehicles aged over 45 days.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely logistics for vehicle transfers.
Liaise with internal teams and internal logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
Spare Parts Procurement SupportAssist the service and technical teams in the procurement of spare parts required for transit-damaged vehicles.
Work towards reducing turnaround time (TAT) by expediting part availability and coordinating with Internal vendors or warehouse teams.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and maintain ABC and FMS analysis reports for better inventory categorization and management across all 2-wheeler Brands including Multi-brand Dealers
Generate regular Aging Stock Reports highlighting critical units and suggested action.
Maintain detailed Transfer Desk Reports, documenting transfer history, reasons, and turnaround metrics.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze stock trends
Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and ERP systems
Knowledge of spare parts and inventory flow (preferred)
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, service, logistics, and warehouse teams
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
0-1 year of experience in inventory OR logistics
Familiarity with automotive inventory and spare parts handling is a plus
