The Placement Officer will be responsible for building strong industry connections, coordinating student placement activities, and ensuring successful recruitment of students in reputed organizations. The role involves career counseling, organizing placement drives, and maintaining relationships with corporate partners to enhance placement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, HR professionals, and recruiters.
Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, internships, and industry interaction sessions.
Identify placement opportunities and match students' skills with suitable job profiles.
Guide and prepare students for interviews, group discussions, and aptitude tests.
Coordinate with academic departments to identify skill gaps and recommend training programs.
Maintain placement data, prepare reports, and track placement progress.
Ensure timely communication between students, companies, and the institution.
Promote the institution's brand by networking with top employers and participating in industry events.
Monitor alumni career progression to strengthen placement networks.
Develop placement brochures, newsletters, and digital content for corporate outreach.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in placement coordination, corporate relations, or HR recruitment (education sector preferred).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and CRM or placement management tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
