Job Description

:
Serve as the Liaison Officer of NDU, responsible for building, nurturing, and sustaining industry relationships with private and public sector organizations, including Core Engineering and IT companies, for recruitment, internships, placements, and MoUs.
Coordinate closely with the respective Placement In-charges of all institutes within the Bengaluru Campus to ensure an integrated, unified, and effective training & placement strategy across NDU.
Coordinate, support, and contribute to strategic CDC initiatives, including:
Internships
Industry-compliant training and skill development programs
Certifications
MoUs
Guest lectures
HR conclaves
"Meet & Greet" industry interaction events
Stay continuously abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and methodologies in career development and placements adopted by top universities and industries, and implement relevant initiatives at NDU.
Submit weekly progress reports to the Director, highlighting:
Company interactions
Outreach efforts
Leads generated
Ongoing and upcoming initiatives
Undertake company visits (IT and Core Engineering) to strengthen existing partnerships and identify new internship and placement opportunities.
Engage in active industry networking through:
Email outreach
Cold calls
Company visits
Participation in corporate and industry-connect events Pan India
Maintain and update placement-related documentation for all branches of NMIT (Aero, Mechanical, Civil, EEE, etc.) and all institutes of NDU, including:
Training reports
Timetables
Mock interview records
FAQs
s (JDs)
Event statistics and analytics
Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely payment processing and accurate maintenance of all supporting documentation.
Follow up proactively with students across all institutes of NDU to maximize participation in training programs and placement drives.
Prepare, compile, and maintain all required documentation for institutional audits, accreditations, and rankings, including:
IQAC
VTU LIC
ABET
ATAL
Times Rankings
Consistently achieve assigned monthly targets related to industry outreach, internships, placements, and MoUs.
Develop and expand industrial outreach to GCCs (Global Capability Centers) and foster the establishment of incubation centers at NDU in collaboration with industry and R&D organizations.
