1. Job Summary
The Training Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing comprehensive training programs for security personnel. This role ensures that all guards, supervisors, and officers are trained as per industry standards, client requirements, and statutory guidelines. The Training Manager will also focus on continuous skill development, discipline, and maintaining high levels of service quality across all sites.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Training Operations
Develop and implement training modules for Security Guards, Supervisors, Officers, and Site Managers.
Conduct induction, refresher, and on-the-job training as per training calendar.
Ensure compliance with PSARA training standards and other statutory guidelines.
Maintain records of training hours, attendance, assessments, and certifications.
Coordinate with Operations teams to schedule training batches.
Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
B. Skill Development
Train staff on physical fitness, drill, discipline, communication, and basic fire-fighting.
Conduct soft skills and customer service training for site-specific requirements.
Develop scenario-based training sessions (access control, patrolling, emergency response, etc.).
Identify skill gaps and recommend development plans.
C. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure training centre infrastructure and equipment meet PSARA norms.
Maintain complete training documentation, including lesson plans, registers, and certificates.
Prepare monthly training reports and share with management.
Participate in client meetings related to training and service quality.
Plan recruitment and development of trainers.
Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies within the training department.
3. Required Qualifications
Education
Graduate (Preferred).
Certification in Security or Training (e.g., NSQF, PSARA-certified trainer) is an advantage.
Experience
3-7 years experience in the security industry, preferably in a training or operations role.
Ex-Servicemen (Army/Para-Military) preferred.
4. Key Skills
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of security procedures, drills, and emergency response.
Ability to train large groups effectively.
Documentation and report-preparation skills.
Fire-fighting and First Aid knowledge.
Physical fitness and discipline.
5. Other Requirements
Willingness to travel to client sites and training centers.
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
Good understanding of guard deployment and operations processes.
