Role Overview:
The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that elevate employee capabilities, product knowledge, and customer service standards across our retail and corporate teams. This role plays a vital part in aligning training with brand values and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the annual training strategy aligned with business objectives.
Create and deliver training modules for:
Product knowledge (diamonds, gemstones, metals, craftsmanship).
Sales and customer service excellence.
Brand standards and SOPs.
Soft skills, grooming, and communication.
Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) periodically.
Train store managers and sales teams through classroom, on-the-floor, and e-learning methods.
Evaluate training effectiveness and track ROI through feedback, assessments, and performance improvements.
Work closely with merchandising, design, and marketing teams to stay updated on product launches and campaigns.
Develop onboarding programs for new hires across departments.
Build a team of in-store trainers and grooming champions.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in L&D, preferably in the jewellery, luxury retail, or fashion industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership presence.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training tools.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail and brand aesthetics.
