The Training & Development Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all training programs to enhance employee skills, improve patient-care quality, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. The role supports continuous learning, staff development, and service excellence across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Training Planning & Execution
Prepare annual training calendar and conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
Design and deliver training modules for clinical & non-clinical staff.
Conduct induction/orientation for new employees.
Skill & Performance Improvement
Track training attendance, assessments, and performance improvement.
Support departments in bridging competency gaps and enhancing service quality.
Compliance & Mandatory Trainings
Organize NABH-required sessions (fire safety, infection control, BMW, BLS/ACLS, etc.).
Maintain accurate training records for audits and accreditation.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with HODs, Nursing Heads, Medical Experts, and HR.
Coordinate with external trainers and institutes when needed.
Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in HR/Hospital Administration.
2-5 years' experience in Training & Development; healthcare experience preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
