Key Responsibilities:
Deliver training on
ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
Explain medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to coding
Conduct case-based and scenario-driven coding sessions
Assign and evaluate practice exercises and assessments
Clarify coding guidelines and compliance requirements
Support students with doubt-clearing and exam-oriented preparation
Maintain training documentation and session plans
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in
medical coding (OP/IP)
Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and modifiers
Certification preferred (AAPC / AHIMA)
Prior training or mentoring experience is an advantage
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to explain concepts clearly to freshers
Preferred Background:
Experience in hospital coding, AR, or auditing
Exposure to real-time charts and medical records
Familiarity with training fresh graduates
