The Trainer - Employability Led Training will deliver structured and inclusive training programs aimed at enhancing the employability skills of persons with disabilities (PwDs). This role involves preparing learners for employment across various industry domains through effective facilitation, mentoring, and skill-building in communication, digital literacy, workplace readiness, and domain-specific competencies. The trainer will also ensure that all teaching methods are adapted to meet the diverse needs of learners with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver employability and domain-specific training sessions to youth with disabilities as per APD's curriculum.
Facilitate interactive sessions in soft skills, digital literacy, workplace behavior, interview preparation, etc.
Customize and adapt training content for various disability groups, ensuring accessibility and inclusion.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor learner progress and readiness for employment.
Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and progress reports.
Support trainees in resume building, interview skills, and confidence development.
Liaise with placement teams to align training with employer expectations.
Collaborate with parents/caregivers and counselors to support the overall development of trainees.
Participate in internal training of trainers (ToTs) and ongoing professional development.
