Job Description

Responsibilities

Train students in cutting, stitching, tailoring, and garment construction

Teach fabric selection, pattern making, body measurements, and finishing techniques

Conduct practical sessions on tailoring women's and men's garments

Teach operation and maintenance of manual and electric sewing machines

Prepare and regularly update training modules, lesson plans, and teaching aids

Conduct assessments to track student progress and provide feedback

Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and practical learning environment

Support learners in preparing for employment or self-employment (e.g., boutiques, tailoring units)

Organize workshops and project-based learning sessions

Requirement Details

Education

- Certificate/Diploma in Cutting & Tailoring/Fashion Design/Textile

Experience

- 2 to 5 years in tailoring or fashion-related work

Teaching/training experience
