The Trainer - Accounts Assistant will be responsible for delivering training programs to students/trainees on accounting fundamentals, financial management practices, GST, Tally ERP, and other accounting tools. The role involves preparing training content, conducting interactive sessions, assessing trainee performance, and ensuring participants gain the necessary skills to perform effectively as Accounts Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
Conduct classroom and/or online training sessions on accounting concepts, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, payroll, and other financial procedures.
Provide hands-on training on Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other relevant accounting software.
Ensure training is engaging, practical, and aligned with industry standards.
Curriculum Development
Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and assignments.
Incorporate case studies, exercises, and real-world examples to enhance learning.
Align content with NSDC/SSC guidelines (if applicable).
Assessment & Evaluation
Assess trainee progress through tests, assignments, and practical exercises.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
Prepare progress reports and submit evaluations as required.
Support & Mentorship
Guide trainees on career prospects, interview preparation, and workplace readiness.
Offer additional support to weaker students through remedial sessions.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain attendance, assessment, and training records as per standards.
Coordinate with internal teams for reporting and compliance purposes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Additional certifications in Tally ERP, GST, or Accounting Software preferred.
Experience
:
Minimum 2-5 years of practical experience in accounting/finance.
Prior teaching/training experience is highly desirable.
Skills
:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Payroll, and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to mentor and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds.
Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
